Same Greek Salad, Completely Different Look
Plated Greek Salad.

Greek salad is undoubtedly one of those recipes almost everyone has made at some point. It's fresh, colourful, quick to prepare and always seems to get eaten. This week I want to answer a different question...

Can the very same ingredients create a completely different dining experience?

The answer is absolutely yes! I've just uploaded a brand new video - Improve your Greek Salad plating - where I make a Greek salad two ways, using almost identical ingredients.

The first salad is perfect for serving at a BBQ or family gathering, and while preparing it we cover tips for making it look as good as it tastes. The second salad transforms the same ingredients into something that could easily be served as an entree or part of a plated dinner. There are no expensive ingredients or complicated techniques to change the presentation. It's simply preparing each element and arranging it with intention.

Simply put on the plate vs arranged with intention on the plate.

Along the way I'll also share:

  • How to cut vegetables for a cleaner, more professional look
  • Why ingredient size makes such a difference
  • When baby vegetables are worth using
  • An easy whipped feta recipe that's perfect for decorative plating
  • Simple plating tips you can use on almost any salad

If you have ever thought, "I wish my food looked a little more special", I think you'll love this video.

I hope it inspires you to look at familiar recipes with fresh eyes.

Happy plating,
Taryn
