Posh Porridge - Oatmeal Bowls
This posh porridge, also known as oatmeal bowls, turn a simple breakfast staple into something worthy of slow mornings and beautiful plating. Creamy oats are served with a selection of customisable toppings that add colour, texture and flavour, making each bowl feel fresh and a little bit special.

Ingredients
Makes 2 servings
- 1 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
- 2 cups water, milk, or a mix of both (including dairy alternatives)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
- Bring the water or milk to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Add the oats and turn the heat down to medium.
- Stir, then bring to a gentle simmer.
- When the porridge is cooked, turn off the heat, cover with a lid, and leave to sit for a few minutes.
- Fluff and serve warm.
